A fair competence with tunnel, rhexis and hydrodissection is expected. Intense training for nucleus management is given.<\/p>\n<p>The program is supported by didactic lectures, model\/animal eye surgery in wet lab and structured supervised hands-on surgery. The trainee will continue \u2018wet lab\u2019 and \u2018assisting trainers\u2019 sessions for a longer period of time delaying the start of the \u2018step surgery\u2019 if the trainers feel it\u2019s necessary (due to trainee\u2019s performance in the \u2018wet lab\u2019 and \u2018assisting trainers\u2019 sessions)<\/p>\n<p>** Starting of the \u2018independent supervised surgery\u2019 also depends on the evaluation report of the trainers.
