Course Description:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Fellowship training requires more in-depth knowledge about the pathophysiology and management of ophthalmic diseases that can usually be obtained in residency training in Ophthalmology. This is a program of continuous period of intense and focused training in developing and maintaining knowledge, skills, scholarship, and professionalism.<\/p>\n

Subspecialty Fellowship training for Neuro-Ophthalmology encompasses the following areas:<\/p>\n

  1. The fellowship training program provides fellows with expert knowledge and comprehensive experience in the diagnosis and management of patients with neuro-ophthalmologic disorders, and develops sound clinical judgment throughout.<\/li>\n
  2. The fellow will learn to manage disorders of the visual sensory system, as well as disorders of the ocular motor pathways and abnormalities of pupil.<\/li>\n
  3. It also facilitates research activities in the field of glaucoma.<\/li>\n
  4. To gain skills in community eye service, one-month placement in any branch hospital (for local fellows).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Duration:<\/strong><\/span> The duration of fellowship is\u00a018 months for local candidates \/ 15 months for international candidates.<\/strong><\/p>\n
