Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital
SCB has again generously donated funds to enable IIE&H to renovate and rebuild our operating theatre complex.
This is planned to open in August 2014
The unit will provide vastly improved services for surgeons and of course patients too.
December 3rd, 2012, was Disability Day. In honor of those disabled by curable eye conditions, the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank presented Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital with a check of US $1,500 to restore the sight of 12 children with congenital and developmental cataracts.

The Embassy of Japan presented Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital with an important gift – funding for the top-of-the-line equipment for sterilizing surgical equipment in the new operation theatre complex.
This donation was presented to the hospital by the Ambassador of Japan, His Excellency Shiro Sadoshima.
Funds for a matching grant for an anesthetic machine, ventilator, and monitor for the new operation theatres were raised from:
Rotary Club of Dhaka West, Rotary District 3280 and Rotary Clubs of Boyne City, Cadillac, Charlevoix, Houghton Lake, Muskegon, Petoskey Sunrise and Sault Ste. Marie of Rotary District 6290
